What is the most nimble footed creature in the world?
*The Australian Cockroach* is mainly domestic. It has yellow markings behind the head and on each forewing.	COCKROACHES! AAArghhhhh!!!
But you knew that! When you put on the light and the darn things run, you knew they could travel almost 1 metre in a second - and if you got anywhere near one with your carpet slipper, you knew they could twist and turn up to 25 times in a second. Bloomin' obvious - after all , you never caught one!
A cockroach can zip round your kitchen, keeping to a fixed path - round the cabinets, along the edge of the rug, under the dog's nose, without straying a milimetre from its chosen path! It whizzes round your foot as you stamp in its general direction, succeeding only in squelching that bit of pizza that fell from your plate when you weren't looking, without losing a stride! And it doesn't need the light on to see where it's going!		German Cockroach The German Cockroach is the most common cockroach found in domestic circumstances. It is about 12mm to 25 mm long a long fawn to light brown and has wings.
