Western Sydney Tenants' Service (WESTS) is an independent advice and advocacy service for tenants. It was set up in 1990 and is a project of the Board of Social Responsibility of the Uniting Church in Australia (NSW Synod). WESTS is now one of 12 independent services around NSW funded through the State Government's Office of Real Estate Services. It also gets some extra funding from the Uniting Church. |

WESTS exists to make sure tenants know their rights, and how to go about getting them. |

We give written information to tenants, like tenancy fact-sheets and booklets. |
|
We Work with tenants and services in the local government areas of *Auburn |
|
We also try to work with people from at-risk groups - like people of non-English -speaking background (NESB). Some of our staff speak Spanish and Filipino, and we have material in a range of different languages. |

We provide information sessions for NESB groups and the agencies who serve them. |
