There is a public jetty at Coomba Park where boats may be moored, and a ramp where you can launch your boat.
Boats are available for hire from a number of places in Forster, Tuncurry and on Smiths Lake, or you can enjoy a trip on the lake or the ocean courtesy Free Sprit Cruises - and who knows, you may espy a dolphin or two......

Spirit Cruises, Forster 02 6559 2899 - 7 days We are currently running daily at 10.00am and 3.00pm for 1 hour family coffee cruise for just $50 for a family of four. We run with a minimum of only 4 passengers. Our lunch cruise is still daily at 11.30am returning at 2.00pm. Without lunch the price is $31 adult $15.50 children 5-14 years. With lunch (ham/turkey/salad/damper/apple pie/tea or coffee) $44 adults $22 child 5-14 years. We have been seeing heaps of dolphins all around the lake on most lunch cruises…but of course cannot be guaranteed on every trip. |
