Pest Inspections Reports tell you

*If subterranean termites (live specimens) are found.
*If visible evidence of subterranean termite workings or damage is found.
*If visible evidence of borers of seasoned timbers is found.
*If evidence of damage caused by wood decay (rot) fungi is found.

Visual Pest inspection is limited to those areas and sections of the property to which the inspector has access. Inspection is made in the areas where infestation is most likely to occur, but does not include breaking apart, dismantling, removing or moving objects including, but not limited to, foliage, mouldings, roof insulation, sisalation, floor or wall covering, sidings ceilings, floors, furnishings, appliances of personal possessions. A more invasive inspection is available.

During the standard visual pest inspection, The inspector cannot see inside walls, between floors inside skillions roofing, inside the eaves, behind goods stored in cupboards, and in other areas that are concealed or obstructed.

The inspector does not dig, gouge, force or perform any other invasive procedures

Visible timbers cannot be destructively probed or hit

In an occupied property it must be understood that furnishings or household items may be concealing evidence of Timber pests which may only be revealed when the items or moved or removed.
